Pretty place, with a great playground and other playing areas for kids. Menu seems attractive, with grilled options, however we never got to try any of their dishes. We (family of four with a one year old baby) arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 4:20 PM seeking any decent meal, a Schnitzel, or some grilled fish, but to our surprise they could not serve us any food until 6:30 PM... The place was open, the service seemed kind of erratic, and it looked like they were preparing to receive a large group. So the kitchen was very busy - at least that is what we were told. Like the ladies attending us said, their communication was very poor... I will come back some other time, or maybe not. It does not seem like the place for tourism .
Nice place to eat with amazing playground and minigolf for the little ones
Delicious eaten at the restaurant koekenbier van het hot stone, n tasty meat, and good service nice girls think along with you. Nice playground next to it for the children and a nice mini golf course, the children had a really nice afternoon.
Really Recommended.
You can eat terribly good from the hot stone, such tender meat in one word fantastic
We have eaten on the terrace. We were kindly received. I was initially shocked by the state of the restaurant. I had not been there in a while. A thorough cleaning and a lick of paint on the outside will not hurt. The food was tasty but the waiting time was almost impossible to do. Certainly not with two small children! 2 hours waiting for your main course! Unfortunately, we were not the only customers who had to wait so long for their food. The system of ordering your drinks was also difficult.
Unfortunately no apologies but just the comment then you should not have ordered an appetizer. For us, the visit to the Koekenbier was again a disappointment despite the food being good. Unfortunately had the same experience before.
