I was supposed to reach Amersfoort central and it was my first trip to this area so I asked from a local in train to let me know when my station reach she told OK. When I came out from Train so once again I show the address and asked to guide me further so she looked at my face and slapped her forehead. I asked why she told your stop was the previous one and she said SORRY more than 7 times....I told Its OK no issue. Then she guided me and told go back in the train when drop at first station from this side and once again she said I am sorry. It was amazing because I saw a little bit more Holland by mistake of a local. :) Sometime the wrong turn will give you the opportunity to meet nice people and to see new places.

I'm really not a fan of the platform layout at this station. The lack of island platforms prevent direct access from platform to platform and instead, you have to walk down and underpass with lifts. Intercity trains don't stop here, instead at Schothrost.
