Convenient parking space in Amersfoort
An hour ago I parked at the oppidium in Amersfoort. One of your parking garages. I do this every week because I am a loyal Dirk van den Broek user, a parking garage where you can park for free for 90 minutes is very convenient. But since the new introduction that you have to go to the machine first, it worries me a lot. Just like today.
I go to the machine. Did fine. Quickly to the car with my children of 6 and 4 and quickly home because in the corona crisis they have to get back to school quickly.
The barrier. I see that 1 of the two barriers are closed to exit. That's fine, I'll use the other. Card in it. Got it back again with card cannot be read. Get a little warm. Try again .. Card back again. Because only one barrier is open, I am soon reminded to drive backwards because of the 5 cars that are already behind me. I go to a machine and make a call. Didn't understand me, sir thought I had a problem with the machine. While I clearly indicated that I was standing in front of the barrier.
First at the service desk of the Dirk. They indicated that they only print the discount code on the ticket, but that has nothing to do with the barcode for driving out.
This problem could not be solved by Mr. from the telephone exchange. He should call the caretaker. He couldn't get it. Call again. Indicated that he could not be reached by phone, but he saw on the camera, he did walk right past me. But turned out to be someone with a work jacket and not a caretaker. After wandering around for almost 10 minutes himself and looking in his loft, and asking a gentleman on the zaboni (mop machine) if he was the caretaker, but gentleman didn't speak Dutch and didn't understand me.
After another 5 minutes and my young children still in the car asking where daddy is, I called again through the machine. Mister indicated that he would call the caretaker again. Did not answer again. Then I got a little angry and told him to keep trying for the caretaker and that I could give my mobile number. But no. Sir was unwilling. It was crowded. It was my fault. The only thing I could do is buy a lost ticket for 20 euros. AND could then call customer service, and then I would probably be able to claim my money back, especially if I indicated that I could not find the caretaker. At that point I no longer had it, and I went looking again, again to the caretaker's office, and again not at home. Then I gave up ... bought a lost card through the exchange. I am at the barrier. I see red-hot the caretaker in his office. Then I thought. I will arrange this via customer service because I have already paid that 20 euros.
And to make matters worse, it was said to customer service that I could send an email. Sigh ... see attached the card that did not work. I would like to receive a correct response to this e-mail within the financial terms, if not I will take further steps.
You win ... with your bad system, and even worse complaint handling. And pretend it's all the fault of the cardholder ... Yeah ...

Card stamped by Dirk van debroek. Card was wrinkled and not accepted. Call sorry but that's your problem you need to buy another ticket. I bought a ticket for 20 euros paid in cash at the Dirk! I get hired and get a message that I have to go to the till and a 20 euro ticket is swallowed. Called again. Yes sorry sir you have to buy a new ticket I say I just did but is swallowed boy says sorry but I will not let you through not my problem. And thanks Interparking! Great employees have you really super customer oriented !!!
Parking here is almost never bothering me and if you go past Dirk parking is free.
