Came to see cows, instruction signs told me to keep at least 25m distance so I kept a safe 26m. Despite this; I still got attacked by a cow. Do not recommend.

Once you're away from the highway it feels like a Dutch wilderness. Some nice variety of fauna and trees. I can imagine on a busy day that you'll forever be passing plenty of people.

The Resistance forest and park in ALMERE is a beautiful nature reserve
