Very nice and friendly staff, that is the main reason for five star review. Rooms are a bit old generation, but very clean.

Stayed here in March-early April. Was treated poorly and disrespectfully because I wore a face mask, and was told by the front desk person that I was giving them a difficult time because they were scared of COVID. Yet, I was very careful myself, respectfully taking distance, and monitoring for symptoms. They merely distrusted me because I came from abroad and wore a face mask (merely a precaution, and I conveyed to them when I checked in that I did not have any symptoms whatsoever). Apparently, they don't really get international visitors, and the type of people I saw only tended to stay one night- tells you something about the type of establishment they seem to be running. The one night I had neighbors, I heard their "activity" in detail. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially to international tourists.

I slept two days in Amersfoort into two different hotel ... I'm sorry but the price of your hotel is not the best of quality/price ... if it had been cheaper, my grade would be higher

Half of the customers had to 'threaten with revolt' before something resembling a decent breakfast was offered. Initially, there was bacon but not an egg in sight. They said they could serve boiled eggs but not scrambled 🤯. They had hardly anything for vegetarians. It took quite some convincing for the staff to spring into action. Being charged €15 per person for some croissants and coffee was exaggerated at best, a complete rip-off at worst. One member of staff for the kitchen and clean-up, and another for the reception and the breakfast room is simply not enough, especially when the hotel is really busy.
