Nice place for a walk, unfortunately limited cycling possibilities

Very nice walk through the former shielded ammunition park. You will pass several large ammunition storage bunkers with giant metal doors. A few years ago, this contained 1000 kg of explosives per square meter. You walk past dozens of these "hidden" bunkers and several small guard houses. Partly paved path and partly unpaved. Route is very well marked with red signs. You can park at the aviation museum, from there you walk the route through the ammunition park. Back to the parking lot you walk past a recreated tea house with a nice view and past the aviation museum, where you can catch a glimpse of the large military planes that are lined up outside.

A beautiful piece of walking area with a palpable history in and around the remains that are still there in the Ammunition Park. Highly recommended for those who love to walk! The entrance is difficult to find, but if you turn right before the entrance to the Military Museum and follow the small road, you will come across Landgoed Paltz on the right and the entrance to the Ammunition Park on the left.
