They were serving food outside and people would eat away on the grass. They also served vegan burger and their fries are just awesome :-) I didn't take anything else but the idea of preparing food for the people outside coming back from walking in the woods was very nice.. in these times it is the only way to do so !

Great atmosphere, kind hardworking staff and an environment that is breathtaking. They've made sure you can pick up some lunch and drinks to take to the cozy field in front (no possibility to go in during covid of course). Best part: the food is good! Always feels like a day spent at a Dutch camping with the perfect vibe when we visit Buiten in de kuil!

I went here with a group of collegues, the personal was friendly and the selection of drinks good. But I had to wait a long time for my drink and ask twice about it. They were either busy or not up to the task of catering a group of people.

Location is great. Food is not bad, although the choices are limited. But the staff is terrible. I'm not even sure how to describe politely how inpolite they treated guests. How inefficient they handle the waiting line so everything takes much longer than needed, how they say they will return after a request and just don't show up anymore, how - even with the smartphone powered ordering system and pre payment - they manage to mess up the order... We were there only 45 minutes, but I could probably quote over 45 examples: all reasons to not go back there. Avoid this place.

Loved the burgers cooked in the green egg!!! Will be back to try the ribs!!! The place is really nice in a beautiful location surrounded by trees.
