Bought two cockatiels (from the same litter) from this shop last September. Upon purchase, we were told that these cockatiels were young and healthy. However, we have never been told when our cockatiels were about, while he will ask this for us. Furthermore, the service was very good in the beginning! Unfortunately, our first cockatiel passed away in January due to a liver infection. Because we assumed that our cockatiel was still young, he probably had a problem with his liver from birth. Of course we understand that this can happen and have never blamed the pet store for this. Unfortunately our second cockatiel also got sick in February and he also had problems with his liver. We then went to the pet store to tell us what was going on. Our intention was to warn the owner where he gets his animals from. the owner spoke to us with a very arrogant attitude. He didn't seem interested in anything. He indicated that it was a bird of € 20 euros. A ridiculous statement, because after all, it is still a living being. We were also informed that next year he will simply get cockatiels again from the same breeder. We were amazed that the owner took such an arrogant attitude and with other negative statements the blame was also on us. A few days ago our second cockatiel went to sleep as well, because there was no improvement and things got worse and worse. The vet indicated that the cockatiel was probably much older than we would think and was probably so weak due to age complaints. He suddenly became blind and his legs were very bad with inflammation. If he was as young as the pet store suggests, then he was born very weak. I have felt very guilty myself and often thought that I should have read and inquired more about where you buy an animal. But as a “layman” you expect that an animal specialist (as this owner calls himself) knows enough about animals and also sells healthy animals and does not lie. We also blame him for how he spoke to us. It doesn't matter how expensive an animal is or what kind of animal it is. It is about a living being with feeling! I advise everyone not to buy animals (or at least no birds) from this store. Furthermore, always had good service with the purchase of the supplies.
