Seen a beautiful car. Printed on the site I want to receive a trade-in offer. All data entered. You will receive the next e-mail with an attachment "valuation report". The mail has the following content:
"Thank you for requesting a trade-in proposal from Gomes Noord-Holland B.V ..
We hope to have made you a suitable proposal. Your trade-in value is an indication. We will contact you shortly to further discuss this proposal.
Of course you are always welcome in one of our showrooms to view the car and possibly take a test drive! "
I have contacted them that I am happy with the proposal and that I want to take a test ride. The answer was we first need more information about your car such as photos etc. These also sent, do not differ from what I had indicated on the site. In order to come to a final proposal, they are going to let dealers bid on your car, very strange state of affairs. After many 5 and 6's they finally contact you for the final proposal. This was suddenly EUR 9,000 lower than their appraised value. A real sad turn of events.
