No idea why everyone is hating on the library. The people that work that are kind, there’s all kinds of activities for the kiddos, plenty of natural light, great location in Osdorp plaza, near the lake. And a fin selection of books, newspapers and periodicals. Respect your library, respect your librarians!

Cold and rude service. The library staffs are simply don't want to help you. When you ask for help, you will feel you are a problem to them. I don't feel welcomed.

Staffs were kind (in my experience). I actually don't understand why some people blame the staffs, librarians. I cannot say facilities are fantastic, but for me it's good enough to read books and do work for a long time. I would like to rate this library 4.5 or more. Hopefully you will have a good experience like me at this library.

So today this happened. The day started with pouring rain. And despite that, my little one wouldn't stay at home. I had the brilliant idea to bring her to the library. At 9.00 we where there. The door was open, we came in. We couldn't see anyone but that was no problem. All we wanted was to get out of the rain, and have some good time. So we went on the big stairs in the kida section to read some books. My 2 yo was so happy to be in there. We weren't making much noise, weren't running around, just sitting, and reading and having nice talk. Then at 9.14 a male personal from oba came to say that we had to go out. Becouse apparently the library opens at 9.30. I said that outside is raining and we are not doing anything really noisy or disturbing. But his unswer wea THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE, THE ISSUE IS THAT OBA OPENS AT 9.30. You can go in the hall if you want. I don't care. So this is. The country or rules and no humanity. I was so down. Everything was still closed, rain was terrible, we we're on a bike. Better kikking out a mother and a child in the rain, than being understandable and leave us there for this out of order 15 minutes. I would put you 0 starts of i could. Learn to be more human and less robotic. Rules are important but humanity is more.
