The spare ribs and the tenderloin were really well prepared and good portion sizes.

Very enjoyable experience, the room was a bit warm and the AC did not seem to function but they accommodated a large group and did it very well

A nice Sunday evening on the terrace. Still sun on the street side, but then you are close to the traffic which sporadically passes by. Nice view of the square with the church. The terrace was full for a reason, friendly service and the food was good. Typical Brabant village atmosphere, somewhat dated, but we find that a relief between all those trendy restaurants. The audience was a good fit, friendly people from Brabant who just came for dinner and didn't make a night out. The menu may have an update, strange names and ugly photos do not match the quality and prices. Wiener schnitzel was good, rump steak with the strange name low budget could have been a bit more tender (they probably use the overpriced fillet steak series for that) and beef tongue in madeira sauce. Excellent fries and a tray with warm vegetables, grilled chicory with cheese, kale ?, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and carrots. Unfortunately, cooked just a bit too long, but plenty of choice. Closing with a white lady (Dame Blanche). With drinks for 3 people 80, -E, reasonably good price / quality.

No fuss. Just a good old-fashioned Brabant eatery. Good price / quality ratio.
