I was nice

Great accomodation but limited facilities other than pool

Stayed at this park 2-7 Feb. for rest after a loss in the family - The park is new and it partially being built- But when we arrived- it was one giant construction site- Upon check in we were told that we would not have any problems with sounds, but yet- our bungalow is against the fence where the construction workers parked each morning. So at 6;30 every morning we were awake, despite coming for rest. We addressed this with the park and they apologized but that was it. There were also cleaning issues involving dust etc. Which they offered to correct but it wasn’t major, so we declined & as the week went along we could see it hadn’t been cleaned under beds and such in a while (and was later told that there were issues with cleaning manager leaving and a new one starting). I am a HUGE fan of Landal parks and stay several times a year. We contacted Landal and filed a complaint & even though I am not fully satisfied how it was handled, I can’t change that. I am certain that once this park is finished- it will be stunning, but this is not the service I’m used to with Landal. If you are planning to book this park- my advice is to call them directly and find out exactly how far the construction is- because at times getting in and out of the park and even our parking spot was hard with equipment. It’s convenient to Efteling for families but I do not recommend it for rest in the off season or any season as long as they are building. I still love Landal parks though as they usually go above and beyond- only this one fell short on many levels.

Nice, but lots of bugs

Beautiful new park in terms of accommodations. Neatly finished and even so new that the heating in our bathroom still had to be bled. This is arranged quickly and friendly by the service department. Unfortunately, there is almost nothing for children to do. Playground is small with little play area. The swimming pool was of course closed due to Corona, but it is so small that it does not amount to much. There is also no restaurant or delivery service from Landal itself. Fortunately, there is plenty of catering that simply delivers to your accommodation. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.
