Good steak and skewer. Pretty crowded after 5.30. Compact place and the light is a little bit dim.
De Bok is a very noisy and busy place. A nice and quiet dinner is not going to happen here. Instead you will enjoy a delicious dinner in a place that feels like a old fashioned Dutch pub. Dark, busy and noisy but because of that the atmosphere is great, in my opinion. The meat, barbecued on charcoal, tastes great. Staff is very friendly and their way of working and communicating fits the whole experience.
One weird thing: tried to make reservations but was told this wasn’t possible. When waiting for a table (30 minutes) people came in, who seemed to have a valid reservation and were directed to their table immediately. Huh?!
