VERY IMPRESSED. First, a bit of background. I'm from the U.S., where we LOVE burgers, and I've had some GREAT burgers from around the world in my 51 years. But I've never found a good burger here in the Netherlands--in fact, I have found Dutch burgers uniformly bad (no offense intended, just being honest)--UNTIL TODAY. The best burger I've ever had here BY FAR is the Tati's, which, shockingly, is VEGAN. It tasted GREAT! And unlike most veggie burgers, it held together very well with a convincingly meaty texture and flavor, was served hot and WITHOUT A SHRED OF NASTY RUCOLA. (Good fries too!) It's true that I may be biased by the fact that the Tati burger is meatless, as I was strictly vegan for several years and have been mostly vegetarian for several more. But I think my memory of good beef burgers is fresh enough to say that I'd put the Tati's vegan burger up against most beef burgers I've had anywhere and most certainly up against every beef (or is it horse?) burger I've ever had here. So, if you're in the Netherlands craving a great burger and you can't jet across the Pond for an In-N-Out Burger on account of the ******* coronavirus, well, my advice is to stay the helloutta McDonalds (home of the best of the BAD burgers I've ever had here) and head over to Nijmegen's Tati Cafe to see what vegan can taste like. And be sure to check out their desserts. YUM! :) :) Oops! Sorry! I need to change my review! I went back several days later for another burger that didn't compare very favorably to the first. The second burger was made of this pink-died "beyond burger" thing I can get at the grocery store and don't particularly like. I believe the first burger patty I had was handmade in-store and tasted much better (and no fake-blood color either).

Pure vegan, but you wouldn't know it from the food. Had fried shrimp, burger, chips with mayo, bitterballen... All amazing!! Like honestly how do you even make vegan shrimp. Drinks are great, pies are great, and the price is really good!!

Had no idea that the food was vegan when we decided to have lunch there. Had my first vegan burger and I was very positively surprised. Also, awesome fries. I was not so much convinced of the vegan bacon on the pancakes, but overall great food. Friendly staff included.

I had delicious vegan pancakes, I highly recommend them. The staff is very friendly, just as the prices.
