Good service when asking for information and repairs. They do not have a wide variety of bike parts available to purchase, and what they do have is very expensive. I came to replace my brakes here, and they quoted me €30-40. €7.50 for the replacement brake handle, and €3 for the cable, sounds reasonable, right? But then they ask for €20 for services? The job took them under 20 minutes, and they ask for that much? The price would've been half as much at any other repair shop. I would avoid coming here if you're in need of servicing.- Best to go to a less branded bike shop if you have a second hand bike.

A year ago I changed tack and bought a pricey e-bike from Thoonen on expert advice for my work in community care. Since then I have been enjoying their top service. The staff always thinks along and is always willing to go that little bit extra for the customer. Whether it concerns a very last-minute repair, spontaneous battery loan or an accessory purchase, at Thoonen I always receive excellent and super-fast help. Definitely the very best service I have ever enjoyed, I can recommend this place to everyone.
