Good food as can be expected. Especially good with the sauces and good wine pairings. However, fails to deliver on combining the flavors to a wow feeling or give the flawless experience needed for a top restaurant of this price range.

A nice new restaurant in Eindhoven with great quality food and wine pairing. Friendly service and a nice ambiance. We were sitting in the front of the open kitchen which I like. For other searching for more quite places there are nice tables at the front or at the 1st floor.

Ordered a 3 course menu for home delivery. Although the quality was acceptable, the quantity was very disappointing. We were both still hungry after finishing everything (in 5 minutes). Definitely no value for money

Very good service. Dishes have a lot of variety and depth. Recommended if you have the time to enjoy a meal.

Visited Goyvaerts for a meal while on a time schedule so we chose their 3 course surprise menu and the accompanying wines. We got there a bit too early and caught the staff a bit off guard so we had time to admire the very pleasant interior while electro lounge music quietly played in the background while we enjoyed our cava aperitif. First impressions were that the old bar street has gained another cosy quality restaurant. Shortly after ordering a round of amuse-bouche were served which weren't particularly interesting but luckily the first course (tuna) was delicious and the selected wine matched very nicely. The main course was entrecote and was lovely too in combination with a powerful Malbec. Finally we were asked if we wanted to change our menu order to a cheese desert for a small extra fee (good job for asking!) which we did. 5 generous cheeses were served, I think the fourth cheese was served out of order but my company that evening disagreed with me so it's a question of taste I guess. We certainly had enough port (10 year old tawny) to discus these cheeses over. Conclusion: excellent food in a cosy environment and friendly staff. The chef has resisted trying to do something thematic or otherwise 'special' which seems to be the standard in many new places these days and is just simply producing excellent very enjoyable high quality meals for a fair price. Must return when I'm in less of a hurry!
