What an absolute gem of a place. Loved visiting the museum/tasting room in the beautiful upstairs attic and trying the local Friesian liquor - purchased a bottle as it makes a great souvenir and was well priced. Great range of different wines and spirits to purchase including some I hadn't seen since leaving my home country. Best thing about this place though is the people - they are welcoming and friendly from the moment you step foot inside. You absolutely must visit this place if you are in Sneek. From a very happy Pimms lover.

Excellent place to taste various types of jenever in a large tasting room. They sell delicious citroenjenever and old graan jenever.

Great historical liqueur shop. Very friendly shop attendent. Beautiful attic tasting room - excellent for those unfamiliar with the Friesian offerings. Products, including t-shirts, were affordable priced - you don't feel at all like they are after your money here. A sweet must-see for city history and a souvenir or two!

The Weduwe makes the best Beerenburg in town, but that's not that hard as they're the only one. But they make the best Beerenburg in the world. The staff is friendly and gives great tours and tastings. But don't just visit them for the traditional Beerenburg, they make great liquors as well, and I'm a great fan of their F.S.O.B and X.O as well (barrel aged Beerenburg). They also know their wines and give you great advise when you're looking for a nice bottle to accompany a meal. Their best kept secret is their lemonade syrup though. Give it a try!
