We went to a festival and enjoyed it. Realy nice and comfortable hall with two stages and overall good sound. It has some lockers to leave clothes or bags inside, a bar with some food offer behind main stage. It´s pretty close to city centre and with a lot of restaurants and bear nearby.

Very good place for live conserts

Glad to be able to attend live performances again. Had a great evening, theatre style

De Effenaar used was the go to place to see new upcoming bands, underground and alternative music. Nowadays it seems that they focus more on the elderly that like listen to average cover bands that cover 70's/80's music such as the Dire Straights, Queen and Beatles. Or they book bands that are over the top and where half of the original members left 15 years ago but the singer is still touring using the original band-name to make a buck. And yes, they still have other music as well... But the ratio old vs new seems way off these days.
