Van de Belt, always already a favourite for buying clothes in the North of the Netherlands, has been decisively refurbished. It is now a huge and airy shop in a lovely seventies retro style with some post industrial touches to it. A scale and grandeur unheard of in the Northern provinces. Worth a visit for the setting alone!
If you can't find the right clothes in your size this is your place. It has a large variety of brands and choices in style an color. I've always been able to find what I was looking for.
The service here is premium as well. I just walk up to one of the employees and tell them the requirements. After sizing me up they start walking all over to get the right thing.
The prices are reasonable and the they have sales from time to time.
Al things considered, this is my one stop shop for clothes.
P.s. the in-house restaurant is quite good as well.
