In 2019 I had a Pendix eDrive installed on my Koga bike at Jan Brinkmann in Dronten. The intention was to get better with my boyfriend during the cycling holidays in the mountains. Last summer we made a 3-month cycling trip through France to the Pyrenees. The Pendix was an enormous help in this and ensured that we were able to cycle at the same pace. It is a very reliable and easy system. I actually only cycled in Eco mode (smallest setting), which was enough support. In Eco mode you can easily cover a distance of 100km. Even in the foothills of mountains, the battery lasts a long time, it depends of course how many kilometers you make. We cycled short distances (an average of 55) per day. Charging was also never a problem, usually 1 to 2 hours. And above all: without the battery you just have "your old" bike back! After the holiday, the battery went into the closet and I cycle without it. After all, there are no mountains around here ;-)

At Jan Brinkman we rented 2 Santos bicycles for a week to experience how the holiday bicycles work. Jan's service is perfect, he took all the time for us, made sure that the bikes were set up properly. Is an enthusiastic long distance cyclist himself and was nice to hear his stories about this. Recommended to buy these adventurous bikes from Jan, he has a wide range.

Brought an ATB bike 4 weeks ago for major maintenance after 1 week he calls says that it will cost 270 euros is not better to buy a new bike well no do not want a new do but make a call after 2 weeks anyway no we cannot deliver the bottom bracket so we still have nothing done to the bike you ok now picked up the bike yourself and arranged a new pedal axle within 5 minutes sorry what a scammer
