It's not bad. This is a midsize supermarket in the center of town. If you have just landed from England or are getting the boat back, it is a convenient place to pick up a few groceries. You can get to selection of salads, patisserie items and just about any other groceries. I use this place quite a lot. One really nice touch is that they offer small cups of complimentary coffee.

A medium-sized supermarket by Dutch standards this Albert-Heijn has most if not all groceries you would need for an average day. With a fresh produce section, in-house bakery, and a cheese & meats-bar there's not much to miss. They even stock up on some locally produced things like strawberries, cakes, and baked goods. The wider selection of food which they have when compared to the Lidl across the street does come at a higher price however. Management consists of the typical venture capitalist who you'll bump into whilst they're angrily shouting at some of the kids who work there. The recent addition of a self-checkout makes the shopping experience that much more alluring for people who don't want to engage in social interaction whilst doing their shopping.

Fine supermarket. Shame not able to pay with creditcard and we did not buy the grapes due to two boxes containing fungae. Rest all fine with good pruducts and loads of choices. Location is good just off the ferry. Prices are steep. Just a bag of shopping and some cheeses was 80 euro. Rest as what you expect from AH.
