The hospital infrastructure is good but The blood test section was horrible here, they misplace the blood of my 5 day old son which was taken by a specialist ( kramzorg) at home and later hospital inform the kramzorg nurse that the blood wasnt enough. The kramzorg nurse of Delvi was really suprised cause it was filled with right quantity at the first time. My son of 5 day old had to redo the test and fill in tube again with blood for the misplacment of blood at the hospital. The hospital people using a very lame excuses by saying that "blood isnt enough" given when actually they lost it somewhere! And please stop this paracetimal medicine for everything all over NL . # no paracemital for everthing # # blood isnt enough #

Extremely poor communication. They will randomly send you notices of follow up appointments WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION except for the date&time. Did you need to do two tests? They will make you wait for the results of the first test before scheduling a follow up appointment. Don't worry though, during the follow up they will only make you fill in a form you have already filled in and then schedule the second test. Enjoy getting a letter home about your next appointment, without any information about your test results!

Pretty modern hospital. You get your personal card at the entrance (you make it in a machine) and use it to clock in/scan at the department entrance where you have an appointment via a machine, which spits out your ticket with your number in line. No more waiting at the desk or people jumping queue. The employees, both nurses and physicians, doctors etc can be nice and correct to grumpy and incorrect in manor and handling, it's still a human business ..

The more I have to do with Dutch hospitals and doctors, the more I distrust the whole system and their competence. At the emergencies, they just send you home, or if you are lucky you get to see some young students instead of real specialists. Good luck trying to get a diagnosis or a treatment, it is utterly ridiculous. Had to go to Belgium to be treated like a human being. Good healthcare doesn't mean pretty hospitals, it actually means taking people seriously and helping them when they need it.

New facilities are fantastic. The staff was super helpful and very nice. I had a sudden illness and had to call the emergency line on a Saturday. I set up an appointment and had very thorough care then had a surgery and spent the night. All the nurses and doctors were straight forward and competent. I was very pleased with my stay.
