It was opened in 2019 after renovation. The feeling was like everything is clean and new. The slide is nice and swimming pool was good too. There is also rest area outside

I took my daughter swimming and after 45 minutes of successful swimming we were called over by the male life guard who wanted to check she had a 'licence' to swim. I explained there was no such thing in England and was instructed she must ware armbands or leave. My daughter hasn't used arm bands for over 18 months and can comfortably swim the length of the pool, as she did unaided whilst I was talking to the life guard. Much to the sincere upset of my daughter we had to leave, she could not understand why she was being thrown out for swimming well and playing nicely. It is frustrating that she had been swimming in front of the female life guards for almost an hour and having a 'licence' wasn't an issue until the only male life guard took issue plus I was there on a one child, one parent ratio. We should have been advised of this requirement when we were both charged full price admission as at this point I gave my daughters age, swimming ability and our Nationality. Good pool if you are Dutch, if not avoid, they will take your money then ask you to leave! ** I have shared my experience with some local Dutch people who tell that there has been drownings at the pool and this is why. I can not verify this but it is what the local community state. Be careful.

Ridiculous life guards, who lack general common sense ...an 8 year old that has swam for 3 years safely in any country, but here he asked to wear armbands...policing to the extreme! If you are not Dutch you have to lie!
