If you put on 7 mile boots and blinkers you can indeed be around in an hour. However, if you have an eye for the birds around you, the water features and paths through the trees, then you can relax here and enjoy the nature around you. With dog, children, fishing rod or just your thoughts.

Due to land consolidation, reorganization of the landscape and therefore being able to make use of more recreation, the so-called Bos van Zuid-Beijerland has been created. It is therefore more or less created, you may say, but it has grown so much that you can still speak of a wild forest, created by nature. A creek, the Borrekeen, runs through it, so a beautiful combination of water and forest. Thus bridges have been built. There is a cycling and walking path that really winds through the forest, there are some (playing) meadows. You can spend quite some time there. It is extremely suitable for residents with dogs from Zuid-Beijerland and surrounding villages to walk the dog for a nice long time.
