Had coffee with my mother. Staff was not really customer friendly. We also wanted a pastry with it, but there was only 1 piece of a redvelvet cake left. Furthermore, there was no more cake and we did not get any other option as a snack.
We went for a main course. The only fish dish could not be ordered. No alternative available, unfortunately. So: only pay for the drink! 2x mineral water with apologies ..... Too bad.
Really delicious food, but a cold atmosphere and boring location
Bad service drunken friends of staff no affinity with customers
Every year I cycle from Gouda to Middelharnis, and have lunch at Lust Wijn en Spijs ... The food is top notch, but the waitress (not the younger one) is definitely not friendly, nice or hospitable.
