Waalbos consists of shrubs, water features and meadows. It is becoming a true bird paradise. A special wall has been created for sand martins in which they can nest. This is widely used. A tarmac cycle path runs through the Waalbos and there are various walking paths, partly semi-paved, partly grass. A number of parking spaces have been constructed around the Waalbos.

Super bird area! Alternating biotope with puddles for wading birds and trees for songbirds and thrushes.

Nice forest. I am surprised that there is mowing here and there are waste bins. Then why not in the Develbos.
