Verhage Gouden Hart

Just ate lunch at Verhage. Food was good, but they are understaffed which is a pity. We waited really long for our food and had to take our drinks as take away.

Great thing, but with the snacks and menus unfortunately very animal-unfriendly. Food is of excellent quality, but it would be nice if the animals had a good life before they arrived at Verhage. Now Verhage gets 4 stars, do the animals get 3 stars better life? Over time there are some more animal-friendly alternatives, but unfortunately many animal-unfriendly choices remain.

I never know if I should take two or three skewers of satay🤔 Satay sauce and milkshakes are also super tasty there!

Staff is by no means friendly to each other. The lady was not that friendly to her male (new I believe) colleague. He supposedly did not ask me the correct order of questions about the corona virus when ordering, so that I could take a seat in the restaurant. She responded very bossy and unkindly to this. This made me feel very uncomfortable and left the restaurant immediately. I have not even had the chance to place my order and pay. This only took 1 minute. I told the grumpy lady and the gentleman who was not grumpy that I didn't want to place any more orders. To this the lady replied that I could still take a seat. I said that I think she is too gloomy and left immediately afterwards. I will not come back to this branch. I am sorry to see that this gentleman who wanted to help me is unable to speak out truthfully on your occasion.

We didn't want onion and mayo on our sandwich so that was ticked off, then we just got it. Sent back then we got mayo. That was sent back and they just scraped it off but my girlfriend is lactose intolerant and really didn't want it and it was just smeared through. So 3 times wrong order and right back. We also first got the wrong order and things got mixed up. Badly arranged, don't come back here
