Many products have been removed little by little in recent years; products that can be found even in smaller AH supermarkets. With the corona crisis, it has become one of the busiest AH supermarkets in Rotterdam especially during the afternoon and weekends. Impossible to keep distance. Good staff, though - the young people working in the supermarket are fantastic. Too bad management is not as good.

1) 7 cashes. Only 2 open. Horrific lineups. 2) Impossible to GET OUT if you want to wait in the car for your spouse who is standing in the horrific lineup. All closed lineups are BARRICADED to prevent a bored husband from retreating from the frey. I honestly felt trapped. 3) Stickers and rules do nothing against coronavirus if it is a “token” and not a real try at helping customers stay safe.

My favourite Albert Heijn in Rotterdam. Great sushi and extensive assortment.

If you want to be surrounded by shoppers moving at 100mph then by all means proceed. Not sure what's in the water around this place but the shopping experience was insane! Only went there as there's no XL AH where I live 🙄
