Excellent hotel in a great location for a weekend away at the Dutch coast. Famous restaurants nearby but we had to settle for take away due to Corona. Not too much of an issue however, the alternatives were just fine. Relaxing, warm and cozy atmosphere and interior. The service is excellent and personalised. Forget about the elevator, that is way too slow and you'll get some exercise from all that food you'll be eating.

We booked the land view as the only available room. We were also traveling with a 2 year old. Firstly, the view. We didn’t see land. We saw a large construction site and construction workers. Stepping out of the bathroom to greet the workers is a interesting experience. Unfortunately I also paid the normal price for “land view” but failed to see land. Or view. At 0900 starts the noise which meant we were all awake. Child included. But the hotel is stunning and the staff are Amazing. It’s probably not the best hotel for children, no toys in in the pool allowed, candles on every table, open fire place, no coloring books in the restaurants etc. but I guess most people with children wouldn’t stay here anyway. We had a nice stay, just a shame there was no view and we had to constantly be careful of our child from the design related risks :)
Strandhotel Cadzand is a pretty big hotel. Nice personal, beautiful location. En excellent media possibilities.
Top location in Cadzand. Enjoyed a fully equipped 2 bedroom apartment with balcony, sea view with a busy shipping channel, in front of the beach in the dunes. A higher floor would present better views, the 2nd was adequate.I also liked the rear facing balcony. Fair value for the money. Caveats: neither grab bars in the shower nor the bathtub making the former slightly dangerous and the latter not useful. No screens on the windows but there are mosquitos. Skip the unimpressive, way overpriced cafeteria breakfast at the hotel.
