The ceiling of this church is really beautiful, the music is soothing, the sculptures and paintings are worth a visit, it is an oasis in a busy shopping street. And after some searching you will find an old photo of what the Hoompje once looked like.

Unfortunately, this church is completely enclosed between the shops, restaurants and the noise of the tourists. It does not do it justice. She doesn't seem to be very old either, nor is she because she was partially destroyed during the Great World War in 1944 and was later rebuilt and renovated. The original spire was lost. The church dates from 1830. Beautiful but rather traditional masonry. The interior is sober and decorated with many statues.
