Superb hotel, restaurant and amenities on a super beautiful and unspoiled part of the North Sea. Great, clean rooms, wonderful views and accommodating staff. Very much enjoyed our stay! Only negative was the bright neon sign of the beach house Caricole in front of our room. One would expect that it'd be switched off at night to reduce light pollution...

Beautiful hotel, closer to 5* in my opinion. Stayed in a Sky Room with nice views of the sea and a 4 poster bed. Staff were friendly and also very helpful at all times. Food was v nice in both the Bistro and Restaurant. Will come back again for sure.

This place is definitely worth to stay over. the kids loved it and felt at home from the first moment. We enjoyed every moment there, thanks to the excellent staff. Thank you for the magnificent weekend

We’ve been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. After missing a year due renovations, we were very excited to experience the “new” hotel. On check in however, we were very disappointed to learn that the only room available was in the old, less renovated section. We booked almost a year ago. The room was old and dirty. The chairs had years of food and drink stains on them to the point, it was disgusting. We asked for them to be changed and the staff was friendly and prompt in doing so. We find the new staff friendly, but young and inexperienced. The service quality in the breakfast and bistro is poor - friendly, but inattentive with poor communication skills. All in all, a big disappointment. We will try again and if not satisfied on our next stay, we will stop coming. For the money, they missed the mark with us...

I went a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my birthday and my experienced was a bix mixed. The hotel has a magnificent location. Most of the hotel is renovated in a very modern fashion, staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. However, we were given a room that evidently was in the non-renovated part. The bathroom looked outdated and the shower was quite small. Also there was a mix-up with our booking for a massage. Staff apologised and booked us for the next day but I would have expected a bit more from this type of hotel (maybe just a drink to apologise?). With so many rules and planning required in current times, if one thing from your planning moves it presents a bit of a challenge to re-arrange your schedule. Food at Le Sommet was delicious but the tables for 2 persons are as small as in a Parisian brasserie which makes no sense in a country where people are so tall. My partner was suffering a bit, to be honest. Overall, I think there is not the best rate of value for money but we did have a good time. Your call.
