This month (October 2019) I had my eyes fixed at Retina with Trifocal implant lenses (to replace my glasses and / or daily lenses). I have considered such an operation several times in the past, but I really did not like the operation. I have never wanted to listen to stories of people who had already undergone such an operation (incl. Cataracts, which are similar in terms of surgery), let alone that I could watch films about this type of surgery on the Internet. Because an acquaintance was enthusiastic about her operation at Retina, I finally took the step for an intake interview or paid examination of my eyes, with the result that I dared to take the step for the operation. Now, two and three weeks after the operation of my left and right eye respectively, I do not understand what I have been concerned about all those years. I really didn't feel anything about the operation or implantation of my new lenses, and I can tell everyone that you don't have to be afraid. The benefits were immediately noticeable and it is a great experience to have good visibility again without having to use glasses or contact lenses. Of course I still have to be patient for a few weeks before I can read a newspaper or magazine properly, but I already notice that this is getting better every day. My eyes have to relax a little further and my brain also has to get used to the image through the new implant lenses for the different distances. I have experienced TOP research and guidance from Retina including the expertise of the ophthalmologist (in my case Dr. Zegers) and I am confident that I will enjoy my (new) new product (the eyes!! For everyone who still has doubts, I can only say: DO (or at least make an appointment for examination of your own eyes at Retina)!

Retina supplies me with Proclear multifocus lenses and recently I have found that they charge more than € 60 for six months of lenses than the amount you pay for a direct online order from Proclear for the same lenses. After so many years of being a customer, you really feel cheated, and they don't call back when I ask you to explain.

I have very bad experiences with Retina. Let me not waste too many words on it: I strongly advise EVERY client / patient to first have a second (measurement) examination performed elsewhere - preferably in the eye clinic of an academic hospital - and to have the ophthalmologist (from Retina) who will perform the operation on ZorgkaartNederland.nl. Unfortunately I could only post this review by clicking on a star, but if it's up to me, Retina won't get a single star ...
