I spent two nights a week at Klein Hoolhorst for over four years, because I lived in Friesland and had work in Barneveld. Never considered a moment to try a different sleeping address. Clean, tidy, good bed and facilities, nice and secluded and quiet (except if there were guests with a truck that left early ...) and yet within walking distance of a beautiful village center with catering where you can eat or drink. And the cordiality and hospitality of the Van den Hoven family (that is called Boer Piet) is phenomenal.

Been with a scooter club, simple but very cozy! Nothing was too much for farmer Piet, because it was so hot he even arranged a swimming pool for us! The breakfast in the beautiful common room was also well taken care of! Tour through the stables and watching during milking was also great fun!
