Searched via Google Maps for a B&B near the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. I also saw the ship 'De Robbedoes'. In addition to the description and photos, I also came on the Facebook environment and read the story of Anneke and Wim. All this decided to book me for two nights. We have absolutely not regretted this. Warmly received by the very enthusiastic Anneke and heard her story and had a tour of the B&B. Very special to hear and see it and then experience it yourself to be and sleep on a ship. The attached photos speak for themselves. The fact that there is such an impressive story behind a B&B makes the stay even more unique. Although we will not have been the last visitor. This is highly recommended. In addition, both Amersfoort and the other surroundings are worth exploring. We even booked an extra night. Thank you Anneke and Wim for the beautiful mini holiday.

Very cool B&B in Amersfoort. Spend the night in the owner's cabin of a former cargo ship. The operators are very hospitable. Fair prices, solid breakfast. Any time.

A huge recommendation. What a great place to stay. After the first contact with skipper woman Anneke I already had a good feeling about this overnight stay. That's right, we immediately felt very welcome in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast! Enjoy in the beautiful retro salon or in the beautiful wheelhouse! We did not miss a television because there is a whole load of old LPs, all nice games and plenty to see. We have not left the ship anymore, ate on board, in order to enjoy our stay to the maximum. The breakfast was also luxurious and well cared for. The bathroom was very neat and the rest beautifully decorated Our children aged 11 and 13 thought it was a great experience! So full of praise! Highly recommended and especially keep going through Anneke and Wim! Secretly I am a bit jealous of your beautiful place and courage! This also resulted in a second overnight stay a few weeks later, this time with a cruise from Zaandam to Amersfoort followed by breakfast. We once again enjoyed ourselves, also during the trip we felt very welcome and enjoyed the view (sailing through Amsterdam, across the IJ, the IJ lake, and the Eem) and the stories of the renovation of a cargo ship into a "houseboat of the year 2016" ", and now for the first time as a floating bed and breakfast. And we were not bored for a second !! Until next time! Mandy, René, Evy and Koen
