He didn't know that I was listening, but I caught that she had to watch out and that he was watching her. The leader of 'Villa Kakelbont' was an arrogant, uplifted hot guy, who kept repeating herself during 'meetings'. She also made it clear that, due to a lack of money, every bed had to be filled. I knew enough at the time: the institute wanted to keep us sick, and thus earn money. The night nurse did not notice during her shift that an elderly, demented man was stumbling through the corridors and knocking everywhere. When I reported this a day later, the management did not intervene. That same sister stayed in her post, directing clients what to do and what not to do. That was the pinnacle. Not doing your job well yourself, and commanding others. Contradiction was not tolerated. You were reprimanded or not allowed to go home. Despite nice talks you were constantly watched. In the end I was fed up with it. After yet another incident - an altercation with a meddling nurse - I immediately packed my things and slammed the door behind me. For good. I have never been there again. What in theory was called a 'top clinic' was in practice a prison, with little chance of improvement or cure. That army of doctors, psychologists and nurses there only thought of the clinic itself; patients were bored, sat eating from their noses for hours on end, and often received their medication too late, because the office was so cozy there: the staff chatted, and filled themselves abundantly with coffee, pastries and sweets. I advise everyone never to do business with Vincent van Gogh. There, purely dirty-mouthed egoists and job hunters work out for money. Instead, find a good doctor and go back to basics. As a client or patient you get much further with that. Pay particular attention to your own qualities, look for distraction, and do not let pseudoscience sell you 'help'. You are strong enough, often stronger than you think, and get to work with yourself.
