Bought 1 bottle of Jim Beam, turned out to be a trial bottle at home that was already open and used. Also bought Four Roses, this bottle is probably so old and has been in the shop for so long that the typical floral note of this bourbon was hard to find. I thought it looked like a brandy. So for me never again from Schaik in Vianen, a great shame to sell such things. You can't and can't sell something like that! Both bottles immediately thrown away! Gall and Gall may sometimes be a bit more expensive, but I have never experienced things like this there. Quality may be slightly more expensive. Your statements / comparisons do not make sense and you are not willing to go along with the customer's thinking while you have really gone over the line. Sold two bottles of booze and both are no good despite your plausible explanation. When a customer makes such a purchase and wants to use it for a party the same night, please pour an opened bottle that you are not sure what happened to? In addition, I give a connoisseur Four Roses who tastes like brandy, added this together, do I have to trust? NO then I throw it away and try to find an alternative for my guests as soon as possible. You come up with a story about TVs that makes absolutely no sense in this situation. if I buy two TVs with a deviation, then I am immediately finished with this store, given the price tag I would go back. But as for your attitude as if it is my fault and it is impossible that the Four Roses would taste like that, that does not give me the idea that you want to solve something ............... In your response I read that you think 4 things are 'weird', which gives me as less victim as a duped customer that you take my 2 well-founded complaints seriously. As I mentioned the two bottles went down the sink and that was the most sensible thing to do at the time not to lose my credibility as a host either. I hope you are happy with your sale of two faulty bottles and I don't need any compensation, because that's not what I care about. I want to protect future customers and indeed point out that if there is time and opportunity to go back to a store, definitely do so. But in my case, the damage had already been done and was terribly embarrassed by your actions. I hope that from now on you will pay more attention as a seller and take your responsibility during the sale and not settle everything with "everyone makes a mistake", and go along with the customer's reasoning and the impact of such a thoughtless action.
