Visiting this gallery really turned a disappointing trip into a very exciting one. Frans Houben gallery has excellent quality artwork and is run by two lovely people, Frans and Simone. I am very happy with the artwork I bought and I am taking back to my home country.
A great place to see for anyone who visits Ootmarsum and loves art!
As soon as I walked into the gallery I was astonished by the artwork of Frans Houben. I am an artist myself so as soon I saw his art I realised I need to learn more about it! I talked with Frans, and he was extremely nice and offered to do an internship with me for 2 months and teach me his secrets of glass art.
I started my apprenticeship with Frans about one week ago and I have learnt an incredible amount of things in such a small period of time. Frans, his wife Simone and their two dogs have shown great hospitality and make me feel like we have been friends for years!
Frans Houben gallery is my favourite Ootmarsum gallery and a must visit place!
Vanmorgen hebben Frans en Simone dit kunstwerk bij ons opgehangen. Een verrijking voor de kamer en je blik blijft er naartoe getrokken worden. Werkelijk schitterend. Bovenal aangenaam gezelschap met humor. Ons volgende bezoek aan de galerie zal dan ook niet al te lang op zich laten wachten.

Super nice reception at his home and bought a work of art from his private collection, big hole in my wallet, but well worth it.

We have had a sun made for our hall, in colors that match our interior. Last week the sun was set (service of the company) and it has become a truly beautiful whole. We had a very nice contact from start to finish. They think along and have taken the trouble to check the situation at our home. They are flexible and we were also allowed to watch the oven. Do you really want something special? They know what to do with it. Thanks Frans and Simone!
