Lucas has mastered the profession since he served up the most delicious meals as a student. You can see what forty years of experience yields. Haute cuisine.

If you cook with Lucas, you cook well .... We recently cooked with 25 men together with Lucas, and how .... Our subject was: cooking in prehistory; a whole bone to come up with something; but let Lucas take his course! Lucas leads you under expert guidance but very playfully and involved through a locally created world of forgotten vegetables and herbs, beer chicken and leg of spit lamb, sweet potatoes, fermentation and tasting Lucas lets you work hard, but then you also have the honor of your work! We had a delicious dinner and an evening-filling program. Everything was great! Thanks again to Lucas for the educational and copious evening that you have 'served' us, we have learned a lot from you and would love to see you again!

In a great cook, people often picture a guy's tree with a round belly and a delightful pear-shaped head with chubby cheeks flanked by a large mustache. But when you see Lucas this image is almost opposite, his dishes speak all the more! All the times that I ate at Eetrijk and cooked with Lucas, I ate delicious and surprisingly 'Eetrijk'. It is almost impossible for a cook who started out of passion. One of the secrets lies in the academic background that gave him the right skills when he followed his passion to cook professionally a few decades ago. "Good food makes you happy" is the starting point at Eetrijk. The wishes of the customer are leading. And, a lot is possible, because when you look at the dishes you see that Eetrijk is busy with new (global) trends and in the meantime also involves and deepens the traditional. But take the test yourself on the "tongue", go eat delicious food at Eetrijk.

On a beautiful summer evening, under the supervision of Lucas, we cooked with 10 people in a beautiful old vegetable garden. Getting vegetables and herbs from the ground on the spot and turning them into surprising and tasteful dishes under Lucas' inspiring guidance was a true experience. At a nice table we enjoyed a whole vegetable menu outside. It was all delicious. Lucas ... worth repeating! Thank you for this special evening. Marianne

Excellent organized club meeting at our home. The entire culinary setting was tastefully and originally done by Lucas! Surprising little dishes combined with delicious wines, all prepared on location. Lucas can definitely come back!
