The windows can’t be opened, which is bizar in covid times. You also can’t regulate the temperature in your room. Luckily the friendly staff could provide us with a fan but what is the point in that when there is no fresh air? The shower is good though as well as the beds. Staff was pretty inexperienced but friendly.

Great little hotel nice ambiance friendly staff, good honest food just delicious. Very near to Giethoorn (little Venetia). You want a few days away from home this hotel and staff gives you all you wish.

Firstly wat I want to say is lack of hospitality in this hotel. I used to work in hotel and I was thought how to treat guests. When we arrived, I came to reception to confirm my reservation and to get the key for my room. The worker who was sitting in reception was literally ignoring us. We were standing 10 min waiting and he had chat via phone. The first rule in hotels is to let the guest feel that he is welcome in this place. So you excuse for the second your phone call and you turning to the guest and you are saying that just a second and I will serve you. What I got was just totally ignoring. I came there with my boyfriend and we got room next to reception. So listening to loud conversations of employees, rings. Just annoying. This room looks like extra made, claustrophobic, they do not even have it on their website. When I asked about changing room, the reception guy said that It is not possible. After us came another (Dutch) couple and they could have any room. It was really rasistis. Secondly, we rented bikes from Giethoorn2stay to travel to the centre of Giethoorn. Each of the bikes was damaged in any way. One hour we were waiting for somebody to repair it (nobody there was enough competent). Dinner was tasty but breakfast it wasn't fresh. I totally don't recommend this place. I hope that owner of this place gonna read it and he will rethink about changing of personeel.
