Camping that should not be called a camping. The 1st impression is hit or miss but we booked so you go anyway. Private sanitary facilities had been made. Toilet was very small and leaking. Hardly any water came out of the shower and if someone flushed the toilet you had no water until the reservoir was filled. If you were going to do the dishes you were in your own soapy water because the drain was not connected. Very sorry.

Welcoming, spacious pitches and if you like peace and simplicity, a great base for Giethoorn by bike or boat.

The Netherlands is considered one of the most beautiful countries in the world and for good reason, because there really are a large number of very beautiful, cozy and unusual places. And if you went to rest in the country “without prejudice”, then you should definitely visit the village of Githorn - Dutch Venice. The village was founded on water channels in 1230. The village is rather big, its length is about 7.5 km. But this is due to the fact that houses are being built on islets.

A quiet, small campsite. With private sanitary. Basic, but wonderfully quiet. And spacious places. Endless view and great base for cycling in the Giethoorn area
