The place is magic, you can feel the nature and enjoy the silence. Awesome rooms, perfect sleep and shower. You have complete kitchen in the rooms and it's huge. My favourite place to enjoy Giethoorn and surroundings. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. I do recommend.

I was there with my family, this is also a part of the translation from the dutch gamer mike,s review. We stayed for 2 nights at the Hoeve Blitterswijk, we stayed in the Owl Room. We were pleasantly surprised because all the rooms are well cared for and very clean and fresh. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Because of the quiet location you will certainly relax. They have some farm animals, in the barn, i saw a horse and two cows, there is also a place with sweet bunny rabbits. In the immediate vicinity you can admire many nice towns and villages. Giethoorn is a nice day trip, and it is close to the Bed and Breakfast, just about 10 minutes with a car. The breakfast is luxury and it had a large and nice choice of items. In short, everything was very successful and we will definitely be back at this beautiful bed & breakfast.

We rented the 'Pipowagen' for 1 week, not very spacious but with a lovely veranda with an unobstructed view to () almost) the horizon. Grassland where many birds (storks, purple herons, birds of prey, gulls, lapwings and much more pick up their food). Wonderful environment (NP de Weerriben) for cycling (nodes) with nice villages to visit. In addition to the 'Pipowagen' (highly recommended for those who love peace and quiet and panoramic views), a number of B&B rooms are available at De Hoeve, run by a friendly family. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle behind you, Hoeve Blitterswijk is the destination.
