Very well organized helicopter airfield, servicing the platforms in the North Sea. Great that from restaurant Vice Versa you get prime views of the platform where the choppers come and go.

Great airport, and ideally the airport for offshore helicopter flights, they also have open days every now and then, check the website for a date.

Den Helder Airport is primarily an airport for the offshore industry. There is also a good catering restaurant at the airport. Airport Den Helder's staff is friendly.
