We have had a beautiful cupboard from House of Mayflower for years. At the beginning of this year, a beautiful coffee table was added. Now it was time to really finish our new home. Together with Margaret I made a new layout which we immediately implemented. The new furniture is beautiful, it really feels like home now. Very nice shop and good service.

Supplier of Ginger home. Ordered our Almond sofa here. Immediately after delivery I called 19-09-19 because on the left side see photo 1 I immediately saw that the seat was sloppy upholstered and fingerprints on the back of the sofa. HOMF disagreed, it was "nonchalant" upholstered. After some email back and forth to EASY sofa where our complaint was not known (which will then automatically be placed in a general system so that they can also see this) they made an appointment 16-12-2019 with POS who would come by for the bank. He concluded that the sofa had to be completely disassembled and that they needed an afternoon to do so. An appointment could only be made in the new year. Because we were on holiday from January to April, we decided / discussed with POS to do that only when we got back. In the meantime only one loft ordered 21-11-2019 to continue. Hokker would deliver Jan 5, I emailed Jan 30 myself again where it stays because they do not contact you. Will it finally be delivered on Feb 6. For this our parents-in-law had to come to Amsterdam to receive them. Kindly asked if you could call in advance that could be an hour in advance. So the delivery person is at the door a lot somewhere mid-afternoon (it was agreed in the morning) my parents-in-law had to come home by taxi from the other side of the city. What a joke. Communication is hard to find there. Because when we got home in early May and called POS, I found out that in December 2019 it was already known that I would get a new bank. I only found out myself in May. HOMF emailed why I only knew so late. New colleague knew nothing about it. I am glad I skipped HOMF for the most part and immediately emailed and called EASY SOFA myself, because they have ensured that there is now a new bank exactly a year later. Service really tad bad they don't even deserve that one star. Not even an excuse via email or a phone call that everything went so badly by each other. Enough other furniture stores where you are taken seriously and the service is good.

Very happy with the furniture from Mayflower. Only the service is embarrassingly bad. Do not take a complaint seriously at all. Takes weeks for them to come up with a solution. Even their own assembly team is right. And if they eventually come to fix their own mistake, you have to pay for it too. For us at least a reason never to buy anything there again.

N nice furniture store with friendly staff. However, the cupboard we had selected could not be lifted, so we decided against the purchase. Too bad.
