Nieuwe Vide is an artspace, but also a place where artists can rent a studio to work in. Every few weeks to every month they have a new exhibition opening downstairs in the long exhibition room. At the end of summer they have an open-air cinema, but due to bad weather conditions the past two years I have heard they planned to move that to earlier in the year *rumors*. It's a very nice 'hidden' place where you can still enjoy distinguished art, and during weekdays they organize several events, ranging from workshops how to hack audio software to organizing lunches with and for the people living in that neighbourhood. Check out the events on facebook to see what's happening! Photography is by me, I do voluntary photography for Nieuwe Vide in my spare time.

Had a really nice time there at a recent exhibition. Cheep beer and free tasty vegan food!

It used to be a special location with exciting exhibitions ..... now it looks like a squat with sloppy, small presentation, created with a lot of subsidy, considering expensive printing and advertisements. Too bad, good luck finding a new property ....
