Pathé Thuis offers 10 euro gift cards which can only be used for 2 films of SD quality. Not only are there very few films at the price of 5 euros, it's very weird that you can't watch the HD versions with it. It feels like a nasty way to make 10 euros while the consumer only gets to spend 4 to 8 of them. Films were nice though, but the weird limitations really worsened the experience.

Pathé thuis is such a user unfriendly service. I have 2 gift cards which I received and have been trying to redeem them online to watch a film with the family during this Christmas lockdown. Once I try redeeming the vouchers it keeps saying invalid. The expiration period is 4 years. While the idea of trying to be supportive whilst all your cinemas are shut. I am instead left with no other than total disappointment and no good words at all for Pathé thuis services. By far will you never be as good as your competitors, and I guess that is the reason why they are succeeding way much more better than you. My advice !!! Do not stream through Pathé! Even the customer service is useless. I tried contacting them, via chat service. What did the agent say to me? Sorry this chat service is only for the cinemas. I am like the cinemas are closed due to the lockdown, who do you expect to help?

You can't turn up movies. Problems about this are not taken seriously. Quite pricey for a movie, while it can still be found online. Matter of HDMI cable

Nice that pathe at home. If 0 stars was a possibility, I would have chosen that. Via euro savings you buy 5.99 credit for 4.50. So a little discount. Turns out to be for 1 movie, but a few movies are covered. Of that, 99% of all films are 2.99 euros and you pay 4.50 for that. By e-mail you will receive the answer that I chose for a 2.99 movie. At the very least, it seems to me that you put the remaining 3 euros in the account, instead of putting it in your own pocket. Nice sun offer .. also all movies are old. New movies cost a whopping 24.99 to watch. What a rip off. Also no solution to the problem, just own mistake according to pathe. No more pathe at home or cinema for me!
