Sportcentrum Heemskerk B.V.

I have been a member of TV de Commandeurs for years, which is part of the sports center. Outside there are 6 artificial grass courts that you can play on all year round. The back bar (at the outdoor courts) lacks cosiness. There are 9 indoor courts where you as a member can only play free of charge in summer. These are rented out during the winter. The central bar (at the indoor courts) is cozy. Spacious bar and seating. Several beers on tap. There is ample parking space.

It is a great sports location, too bad it is unfriendly staff (not all) 😒

There are few other occasions if you want to play squash. You can play tennis, even outside. That is a great advantage in the Corona era, and a disadvantage of squash that happens indoors in hardly ventilated spaces. Sometimes windows are open, which provides a bit of fresh air.

Great location for tennis , squash, bridge, meetings, etc.

Remains a nice place to come and work out. For years!
