Turfmarkt Alkmaar

Great food, great friendly service, definitely a must when you are in Alkmaar :)

It was our second time to come to this place, and though we were very happy the first time last year, today was very disappointing. No staff was smiley nor friendly. Everything took very long, but it was a bit busy so we understood. But once the food was served, no one came to check on our table. When we were done eating, we wanted to order dessert, but no one came over to us, they just walked passed our table many times without even looking at us. So we were left with a table full of empty dishes and glasses for a long time. In the end we just left cause it didn’t worth it anymore. We left feeling very disappointed and unsatisfied. It’s a shame because the place and food are nice. I hope the service will improve.
