This place is such a bonus for Alkmaar! Great view, lovely decoration...great cake! And just out of the main tourist chaos.

A unique restaurant situated in a former bunker. Organic and warm decoration on the inside and a big terrace at the bank of a canal. Warm and cozy in winter and easy going waterside atmosphere in summer. The food is top notch with inspired vegetarian and meat based choices.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The food was beyond expectation and the presentation excellent. The location is very nice and well decorated. It is located in a small park night next to the city centre. It is on the expensive side, but worth it for us. Toilets are upstairs, a bit hard to find.

Perfect spot, nice staff, amazing pancakes and homemade lemonade!!!

Happy with the food and its quality. Slightly overpriced. The atmosphere is also very nice. A little more lighting would help for seeing what you are eating.
