Harry and I arrived at the 19th October Family home in Alkmaar. Wednesday the 21st It was the big day that Harry was operated on for lung cancer. We found the family home in Alkmaar fantastic. Despite the illness. We could cook, make coffee and everything was well organized. Lieve Erna and volunteers Thank you very much for the stay. Is specially intended for patients of the NW Hospital in Alkmaar and their family members. Bordered at the parking lot behind the hospital. You can stay overnight and make use of facilities in the kitchen and the 2 living rooms. Everything clear and fresh. A team of volunteer, two per half day, are there during the day to assist you. Very suitable and recommended for people who live far from the hospital and still need to be there every day. Highly recommended. It gives some peace in the already difficult times.
