Excellent service, delicious food! We were pleasantly surprised with the experience as we spontaneously decided to have dinner at this place. The service was excellent and the food very delicious. A hidden gem and definitely an exception to mediocre standards generally applying around in dining (sorry!).

Fantastic fillet steak, cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back if we are in alkmaar again. Went on Saturday night at 8pm as a family of 4, not too busy inside but outside was packed. Despite this, service was very good.

Delicious steak cooked to perfection. The duck liver of the Rossini topping was nothing like i’ve tasted before, what a surprise of delight, melts in your mouth goodness! I loved the truffle sauce of the Parmezan fries. We got seated at the ground floor right by the fire which was nice coz it’s almost freezing outside. We had enough privacy coz the tables are placed far enough from each other. The ambiance was cozy, the background music was nice but maybe a tad too loud for my taste. The service is friendlier than what you usually get in the Netherlands. Simple menu, they also have fish and other meats but mainly focused on steaks. There was at least one to two vegetarian options though. We were there from 17:30-19:00 for a 2-course menu. The only reason I don’t give the 5th star is it’s on the expensive side, though you do get quality for sure. If ever i’m in Alkmaar again i’ll for sure come back to this place and will definitely recommend to others!

Have been here multiple times now and will be back even more often. Very friendly staff and good quality food!
